Application for Admission
Upper Room Christian
Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic o
rigin to all the rights, privileges,
programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students
at the school.

All new students
entering Upper Room Christian Preschool must submit an application
along with an application fee.

Students may be screened
to assess their reading and math levels. (Any prior testing
assessments must be furnished)

All new students and
their parents undergo an interview process as deemed necessary by the
Admission Committee.

All new students in the
Preschool are subject to the interview, satisfactory records from
previous schools, and satisfactory recommendations from previous
schools.

The Admission Committee
makes final decisions concerning all applications to the school.

All students must have a
medical report on file. Students must have the report on file before
the first day of school.

State law requires that
all immunizations are current. Health forms are available in the
school office.

New students will be
notified by phone or mail.

Re-Enrollment

All returning students
have the right to return before new students are admitted.

In January of each year,
a letter of intent is sent home. Parents are to state their intentions
for their child for the next school year. The letter of intent is to
be returned with a non-refundable application fee. Tuition accounts
must be current before the letter of intent can be accepted.

The Principal along with
teachers recommend whether or not a student remains in the Preschool.
For example: A student’s work may not be satisfactory or he/she may
have a learning disability which may make it necessary for the
committee to recommend that the student attend another school which
may be better suited to meet the special needs of the student.

The Admission Committee
makes all final decisions concerning all re-enrollees for the
Preschool.

be completed by May 1st in order to hold a slot for your child in the
upcoming year.
Registration
URCAP operates
as a separate part of Upper Room Church of God in Christ. Financial
support comes from tuition and gifts.

Registration
Fee: A $100.00 non-refundable registration fee must be sent in with URCAP
Registration form by May 1st each academic year. The
registration fee for returning students is also due on May 1st.
The Preschool must be notified of student’s intent to return for the
upcoming year during the pre-registration period each year.
Tuition
1.
All accounts are due and payable in advance, with the first tuition
payment being due August 1st. Subsequent payments are due the first of each month. Payments
may be mailed to Upper Room Christian Preschool or paid in person at the
school office. Please do not
send payments by students. Report
cards will not be issued if you have an overdue balance.

If payment is not received by the 5th of the month, a
$15.00 late fee will be assessed. All delinquent tuition and late fees
must be paid in full by the 15th.

Student tuition that is 30 days delinquent will result in the
termination of the student. It is our desire to continue the ministry of
Christian education in the life of your child; however, Christian
education is a privilege which carries responsibility.
