2 Secret Service Agents Arrested By FBI


Two men were arrested by the FBI on Wednesday for allegedly impersonating as federal officers. 

Arian Taherzadeh and Haider Ali impersonated being DHS agents for more than two years. 

Also, four Secret Service Agents have been placed on leave. 

The accused allegedly gave expensive gifts to federal agents, including an iPhone. 

They also offered to buy a weapon for a Secret Service agent assigned to the first Lady. 


The alleged ruse came to the fore after an investigation by a US Postal Inspector. 

There was an alleged assault of a USPS letter carrier in an apartment complex. 

The two accused were first interviewed as potential witness. 

However, the fact that they had given gifts to the USSS surfaced. 

Following that, the DHS Office of Inspector General was informed which contacted the FBI.
