Bruins Acquire Hampus Lindholm from Ducks; Signs 8-year Deal

Hampus Lindholm is now a member of the Boston Bruins.

An 8-year deal worth $6.5 million cap-hit has been signed.

The Bruins acquired him from the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.

Two defensemen and three picks were traded in exchange.

These include Urho Vaakanainen and John Moore.

As per the deal, the Ducks will retain 50% of Lindholm's salary.

Lindholm was among the top players in the trade market.

The left-shot defenseman has 22 points in 61 games with an even plus/minuses.
