LB Bobby Wagner
Comes Home Signs $50M Deal with Ram
All-pro line-backer Bobby Wagner has signed a five-year, $50M deal with the Rams.
The Seahawks' all-time great was released by the club on March 8.
His former teammate, Richard Sherman, first broke the news.
It was later confirmed by the Rams on Thursday.
Though details are awaited, the deal is worth $65 million with incentives.
Wagner will be joining a team strengthened by strong defence.
The eight-time Pro Bowler will face his old club twice this season.
Wagner has an exemplary record of producing 1383 tackles in his ten-year run with the Seahawks.
His release, however, was marred by controversy as he was not even informed of the development.
However, head coach Pete Carroll rendered his apology later.
